- A: Although Frontline is packaged for any dog up to 22 lbs it is not necessary to use the entire tube on a small puppy. You can use approx 1/2 the tube for your puppy and still have it work very well. Using the entire tube would not be harmful but it is not necessary. We use Frontline Plus more than any other product.
