Feeding new puppy

October 30, 2016, 8:37 PM
Q: When i purchased my Cavapoo pup, Carrie on 10/12/16 i was told she weighed 2.6 lbs. She was born Aug 4.It is now 10/30/16 and she only weighs 2.9 lbs I received her via air cargo a week ago and the weighed 2.7lbs . She's a good puppy, plays well and sleeps lots. She is not wanting to eat much kibble but wants to eat my older dogs Stella and Chewy's frozen chicken! She is always acting hungry so I gave her so frozen chicken and she gobbled it up and wanted more. Im concerned that she has gained so little since I purchased her. Can I continue to feed her the frozen Chicken from Stella and Chewys?
A: The fact that she eats what you offer and feels well is the most important. I will email you a list of foods to try. Maybe use the chicken with crushed kibble or try canned or soft moist.
