October 2, 2014, 7:59 AM- Q: my 9 lb maltipoo puppy keeps jumping on and biting the neck of my 3 lb pom puppy...is this ok being their sizes are so different?
- A: Fortunately puppies are remarkably flexible. Even with noticeable difference in body weight the incidence of injury is really low. Usually the target of the attack will keep the game manageable by exiting or countering with vocal and body language cues that signal "enough is enough" You can also act as a referee but I find that letting the players figure out their own limits works just fine.
