March 5, 2017, 4:04 PM- Q: Our 9 month old Morkie just came into heat. How long will that condition last? What are pros/cons of having her spayed?
- A: The entire period lasts approximately 3 weeks with the first 10 days being the messiest part. Unless you plan to breed your dog she should be spayed.
