- A: If you are planning to use pepto bismol to treat sporadic vomiting or diarrhea in a puppy that feels good otherwise you should start with 0.5ml per pound of body weight 2-3 times a day. So a 5 pound puppy would get about 2.5ml per dose. If the puppy does not feel well or the condition does not respond after one day you should let me or your vet know.
